Welcome to TuitionByte.com. By requesting or hiring a tutor through our platform, you (the guardian) agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and professional tutoring environment for guardians, tutors, and the Tuition Byte platform.

1. About Tuition Byte

Tuition Byte is an online platform that connects guardians and tutors for home tutoring and online tutoring services. We work only as a tutor matching platform. We help guardians find suitable tutors but do not directly provide teaching services.

2. Guardian Responsibilities

Guardians using the platform agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the student, subjects, class level, and location.
• Communicate clearly with the tutor regarding schedule, tuition fee, and expectations.
• Maintain respectful and professional behavior with tutors.
• Inform Tuition Byte if a tutor confirms or starts a tuition job.

Guardians must not provide false or misleading information when posting a tuition requirement.

3. Tutor Selection

Guardians have the right to review tutor profiles and communicate with tutors before confirming a tuition job. However, the final decision to hire a tutor lies entirely with the guardian. Tuition Byte does not guarantee the academic performance or teaching style of any tutor.

4. Tuition Fee Agreement

The tuition fee and schedule must be discussed and agreed upon directly between the guardian and the tutor. Guardians agree to pay the tutor according to the agreed fee and follow the payment schedule. Tuition Byte does not collect tuition fees from guardians.

5. Trial Class

Guardians may request a trial class if agreed upon with the tutor. The conditions of the trial class, including payment (if applicable), must be discussed directly between the guardian and tutor.

6. Tuition Confirmation

Once a tutor starts teaching, guardians should notify Tuition Byte. This helps maintain transparency and proper service management. Providing false confirmation may lead to account restrictions.

7. Tuition Cancellation

Guardians should inform both the tutor and Tuition Byte if they decide to cancel a tuition. Tutors should be informed in advance whenever possible. Repeated unnecessary cancellations may affect guardian access to the platform.

8. Behavior and Safety

Guardians agree to maintain a safe and respectful environment. Guardians must not harass tutors or request illegal services. If such incidents occur, Tuition Byte may suspend the guardian account.

9. Platform Role and Limitation

Tuition Byte only provides a matching service. We are not responsible for tutor performance, academic results, or disputes related to tuition fees. Guardians and tutors are responsible for managing their own agreements.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Guardian information (contact details, location, etc.) will only be used for tutor matching and service improvement in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to restrict accounts if false information is provided, tutors are mistreated, or platform policies are violated.

12. Changes to the Agreement

Tuition Byte may update these terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the website for periodic review.
